EPCs

As a directive from the European Union and with ever increasing concerns about global warming it is clear that Energy Performance certificates are here to stay. For this reason we have dedicated a great deal of time and resource into setting up a network of Domestic and Commercial Energy Assessors who are not only able to provide certificates for domestic and commercial properties, but also SAP Ratings, SBEM Ratings and Ratings for the Code for Sustainable Homes.

Key reasons why you should use Floorplanz for all your EPC requirements.

*  Nationwide network of DEAs

*  Each DEA is interviewed and assessed for their suitability, interpersonal skills and relevant qualifications.

*  Where required we are able to provide any of our other services at the same time in a single appointment resulting  in fewer delays, confusion and less inconvenience for the seller.

*  Our operators are not “jack of all trades” and are chosen for their skills and experience.

*  All our Energy Assessors are accredited, insured & Criminal Records Bureau checked.

EPCs for Lettings

From the 1st October 2008 when ever a property is marketed or let to a new tenant an EPC is required, they have a longer life (10 years) than those that form part of a HIP but they are displayed in an identical format. It is the duty of the landlord or agent to make sure that the EPC is supplied to the prospective tenant.

Commercial EPCs

We can provide commercial EPCs for all sizes of retail and industrial units, as well as Display Energy Certificates for Public Buildings and Institutions. These will be required on change of tenancy on all commercial buildings from January 2009.

EPCs for New Builds

We are able to supply EPCs for all new build homes and dwellings with our team of SAP assessors. Predictive Energy Assessment Certificates can also be issued for all off-plan dwellings being marketed, along with on-construction EPCs for new build property being marketed for sale. Code for Sustainable Homes certificates are also available for all new domestic housing developments.
